What resources am I authorized to use?

I believe in Computational Chemistry for everyone, but there are limitations imposed due to finite resources and potential for abuse.

Educational Users

This site is designed for educational use. Users with academic emails (.edu, .ac, etc) will have privileges for most of the site. This includes Jupyter Notebooks, and running longer jobs on multiple cores. When registering make sure to use your academic email and verify your email (by clicking the link that you get in your welcome email) to get these privileges.

Unregistered Users or Users with non-academic emails (gmail, yahoo, etc)

Users can run small jobs on one core for one hour without registering or when signing up with a non-academic email. Because of abuse of the system by some users, unregistered users or users with gmail cannot use Jupyter Notebooks.

Undergraduate researchers with complex jobs

We have the capability of running jobs for longer with many cores. To request this go to your dashboard and click "Request more CPU-hours or Cores"
